How It Works
Which Anatomy the Baby Gets
The anatomy is its own roll, the same at every compatibility: the baby copies the father's anatomy, the mother's, or hatches with another anatomy from the same category as one of them (a coin flip picks which parent's category), so a collection full of the same pairing doesn't turn into a collection full of the same silhouette.
Anatomies have rarity floors (a dragon is Epic or better). When the picked anatomy's floor sits above the rolled rarity, the baby moves to another anatomy of the same category that allows it, so the roll is kept. A category with no such anatomy (every mythic body is Epic or better) raises the rarity instead. Anatomy never changes the elements or the stats.
What the Category Roll Will Never Do
/settings type:Anatomy stay out of the roll.Offspring Rarity Odds
Each breed first rolls an elite tier independent of parents, then reads a parent-rarity row. Compatibility (Neutral / Strong / Weak) shifts both. Legendary and Mythical Lunari breed only through cross breeding, and their rows below only ever apply there.
Legendary & Mythical (rolled first)
These two are rolled before anything else and do not depend on parent rarity. Two Common parents have exactly the same shot at a Legendary as two Epic ones.
| Compat | Legendary | Mythical |
|---|---|---|
| Neutral / Strong | 1 in 2,000 (0.05%) | 1 in 7,000 (0.014%) |
| Weak * | 1 in 500 (0.2%) | 1 in 1,750 (0.057%) |
* 50% of Weak breeds fail and produce no egg. Net per-attempt odds with the failure folded in: Legendary ≈ 1 in 1,000, Mythical ≈ 1 in 3,500, the same effective rate as Neutral but with louder all-or-nothing variance.
Mixed Pairs: Which Row Applies
The baby takes after one parent, 50/50, and reads that parent's row. A Common paired with an Epic reads the Epic row half the time and the Common row the other half, so one Epic never carries a Common partner. Two parents of the same rarity always read their own row.
Before the Row: Flat Rolls
A few outcomes are decided by a single flat roll before the row is read, so the Weak boost below cannot multiply them. In order: a Mythical parent's own 1% Mythical and 10% Legendary, a Legendary parent's own 5% Legendary, then cross breeding's 10% Epic, then Weak's 5% Uncommon. Everything left goes to the row.
The tables below fold those flat rolls in and repeat the two elite odds in their last columns, so each row reads as a complete outcome list. Strong shifts the row roll up by 50 out of 1,000; Weak keeps the best of 4 rolls.

Weak Compatibility (best of 4 rolls)
Percentages below apply only to the 50% of Weak breeds that succeed, the other half fail and produce no egg.
| Parent | Common | Uncommon | Rare | Epic | Legendary | Mythical |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 12% | 47% | 30% | 11% | 0.2% | 0.057% |
| Uncommon | 0.6% | 24% | 52% | 24% | 0.2% | 0.057% |

| Mythical | 0% | 0% | 0.6% | 89% | 10% | 1.1% |
Cross Breeding (Neutral, with the Epic bump)
Every cross breed takes 10% Epic off the top before its row. Legendary and Mythical parents can only appear here.
| Parent | Common | Uncommon | Rare | Epic | Legendary | Mythical |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 54% | 24% | 9% | 13% | 0.05% | 0.014% |
| Uncommon | 25% | 35% | 23% | 16% | 0.05% | 0.014% |
| Rare | 21% | 35% | 29% | 15% | 0.05% | 0.014% |
| Epic | 0% | 22% | 40% | 37% | 0.05% | 0.014% |
| Legendary | 0% | 4.5% | 22% | 68% | 5% | 0.014% |
| Mythical | 0% | 0% | 23% | 67% | 9.9% | 1% |
A separate breed-discovery branch (extremely rare) mints a brand-new species and rolls its rarity from a fixed table: 40% Common, 30% Uncommon, 15% Rare, 10% Epic, 5% Legendary.
Dual-Element Odds
Each parent passes on one of its elements, 50/50. If the two passed elements differ, the baby keeps the father's alone 34%, the mother's alone 34%, or both as a dual 32%. If they match, the baby is that single element.
| Pair | Example | Dual chance |
|---|---|---|
| Two different elements | Fire × Water | 32% |
| Duals with no shared element | Fire/Water × Earth/Air | 32% |
| Duals sharing one element | Fire/Water × Water/Earth | 24% |
| Dual and single, shared element | Fire/Water × Fire | 16% |
| Same dual on both sides | Fire/Water × Fire/Water | 16% |
| Same single element | Fire × Fire | 0% |
Breeding Aids
A Lunari can hold one Breeding Aid. It is spent when that Lunari starts its next breed and changes
the egg (both eggs in a cross breed). Equip from /inventory (enter collection numbers)
or /view → Equip item. An aid that can't change a pairing stays equipped. If both parents
hold aids that decide the same roll, the father's is spent and the mother keeps hers. A Weak breed that
fails gives the aids back. Traded or given Lunari keep their item; released or merged ones lose it.
| Item | Effect | Holder | Mined at |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🦪 Deep Pearl | The hatchling is always dual-element. | Either | #14 Deepcurrent Shelf |
| ☄️ Comet Shard | Rarity roll +100 out of 1,000. | Either | #74 Comettrail Field |
| 🐚 Echo Shell | The hatchling takes the mother's anatomy. | Mother | #12 Tidal Echo Bay |
| 🌫️ Mist Essence | The hatchling takes the father's anatomy. | Father | #23 Hollowmist Crossing |
| 🌌 Phase Fragment | The hatchling's element and anatomy come from neither parent. | Either | #59 Neon Rift |
| ⚙️ Clockwork Core | The hatchling always carries the element you pick. Also costs 10 shards of that element. | Either | #87 Gearplay Yard |
A Deep Pearl and a Clockwork Core on the two parents combine: the picked element plus the other parent's. A Phase Fragment only picks designs that exist; if none fits, the baby rolls normally.
Tips
Use /breed type:Auto with element filters to efficiently target specific dual-element offspring.
Keep mutated Lunari in your breeding pool. Mutations pass down and compound over generations.
Chasing new anatomies? One breed in four hatches with another anatomy from a parent's category, whatever the pairing.
Rare-rarity and higher parents improve the odds of Epic/Legendary offspring.
